The Winners:

We are proud to announce that Kägi is available in the first retail stores in Thailand. Kägi is the iconic Swiss chocolate wafer coming from the mountain area Toggenburg. Since its creation in 1934, Kägi uses the same traditional recipe in 3 steps, all made in-house:

3sixty food together with Chocolat Frey organized an exclusive Pastry Training with renowned Pastry Chef and Brand Ambassador Ralph Gottschalk. The training with the theme “coffee sweets” was tailor made for Pastry Chefs of 5 star hotels located in Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phuket.

The Training began with an interesting pitch of Chocolat Frey Export Manager Michael Schwarz, who explained among others the characteristics and production process of Chocolat Frey products. Interesting to hear for example that the chocolate is 100% made in Switzerland and that Chocolat Frey is ‘the number one chocolate brand of Switzerland’. After the introduction of Ambassador Pastry Trainer Ralph Gottschalk, especially flown in from South Africa, the actual training began. The attendees were treated with new and exciting recipes and techniques. Amazing to see was the shiny couverture after tempering and the multi-functional Fillings which are available in 9 different flavours.

The beautiful Pastries and smiles at the end of the training made this event a great success. 3sixty food would like to thank Chalong Bakery Phuket and L’Ecole Bangkok cooking school that provided the beautiful venues for the training.
